Written by on March 20, 2023

This Tuesday (March 21) at 7:00 p.m., we will debut the first episode of Glass City Humanist, hosted by Douglas Berger!

The Glass City Humanist is a show about living as a Humanist from a Northwest Ohio perspective. Episodes will explain the basics of Humanism, how we can live our Humanist values to support social justice issues, and may include local news and informa

tion of interest to Humanists and other freethinkers. There will be interviews, from time to time, with Humanists and other secular people in Northwest Ohio and beyond. The show is hosted by Douglas Berger, founder and President of the Secular Humanists of Western Lake Erie. Douglas has almost 30 years of experience and leadership in the Humanist movement.

Also, debuting this Sunday (March 26) at 6:00 p.m. is Lutzi From Glass City, hosted by Alana Tumbush!

Please join Lutzi for two hours of indie rock with a sprinkle of the classics and local music. Tied into the music program are local events showcasing what our community has to offer.”

Both programs came to us through the open application window held late last year by our station. WAKT regularly invites members of the public to apply for a time slot on our station.

Please join us in welcoming Douglas and Alana to the station!
