WAKT is pleased to announce the addition of The Reggae Cruise starting Saturday 08/29/2026 at 7 PM

Each expedition travels the world in a mission to preserve endangered languages, history, and culture through the collective effort of reggae music. With a focus on the 21st century, artists from over 100 nations highlight the global reach and how the components have contributed to its evolution. Airs/streams on over 20 Pacifica and NPR stations across the US. No dancehall.

Featured segments: The Healing Pocket with Dr. Jennifer Jester examines the health benefits of reggae music. The Spotlight showcases a selected track and the musical act behind it.
